I spent my day off going to the Brooklyn Museum with my roommate Paige. We went to see the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit and it was amazing. If you live in the area, go see it before it closes at the end of this month! Anyway, the exhibit was incredible, with rooms and hallways filled with Gaultier's designs from his first collection on. I was particularly fascinated by the Mermaid collection and all of Madonnas costumes. It was amazing to see everything up close and in person. There were also photographs in the exhibit of celebrities in his designs and famous photo shoots. Paige found a photo of Kurt Cobain (my favorite!) wearing a great big Gaultier coat. It was great!
