You know what's scary? Getting on the ice for the first time every winter. You forget how hard it is to keep your balance and how much the skates hurt your ankles. You hold onto the side wall for dear life until you're brave enough to go out amongst the throngs of other skaters.  Then, once you really get going, you can just glide around pretending to be an Olympian in a pretty pink dress...But maybe that's just me?
