Back in the day, slips were worn underneath sheer dresses to be conservative. Today, the fashion forward and the brave wear slips as clothing. Older generations might be calling it underwear, but I am officially deeming the slip an acceptable article of clothing to wear. Especially in hot, humid NYC, a slip is perfect to stay cool and look cool. If you're nervous about looking like you're doing a walk of shame, make sure you pair your slip with thought out matchy matchy accessories (I chose to go all pink) and shoes that are more man repeller than sexy. Bonus points for socks sticking out. And of course, I'm wearing my favorite bralette underneath. Why not go all out?
