As a college student living in New York City, it's safe to say that I'm too poor for Dior (or Chanel, or Alexander Wang, or Saint Laurent).  Yes, I can totally spend hours in Bergdorf's lusting over everything and wishing that I was a millionaire.  But for now,  I'm perfectly content with mixing fast fashion pieces from somewhere like Forever 21 with slightly higher quality pieces, like a well-made pair of jeans or shoes.  I realize that I can't shop at the "3 B's" (Berdorf Goodman, Barney's, and Bendel's) made popular by Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf… but I can eat a lot of dollar pizza from 2 Bros and buy $5 flannels from thrift shops.  The Dior will come later.
