My basics might be different than your basics. They include black tee shirts (not white ones, I'm too clumsy with my coffee), denim shorts, and flannels. These are my go-to pieces on days when I'm in a hurry and not sure what to wear. Then, I throw on one or two other things that make the outfit less boring or "normal" - because who wants that!?
In this look I paired over-the-knee socks with the shorts because it wasn't THAT warm out, and stashed my phone and wallet into this super kawaii plush heart purse that I found in the sale section at H&M. I think it's safe to say my little quilted black purse has been retired.
