Party in the USA in an AC/DC Tee

Sometimes things don't go as planned. Most summers, my family and I go to Ocean City, New Jersey, to enjoy the beach for a few days. This summer, I asked to take off work and was all ready for my ONLY VACATION OF THE YEAR. Then what happened? Mother Nature decided to to make it storm, causing us to cancel the vacation. I went to work and I stayed in the city-went with the flow. While we should have been on the beach, I put on a semi patriotic outfit (meaning my AC/DC tee had a little bit of American Flag on it) and my sister and I ended up going shopping in the rain. At night, my friend Kaitlin and I wanted to do something to celebrate but had no definite plans. Again, we just went with the flow… and we ended up at the BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE (standing on the edge of the FDR bridge) for the Macy's fireworks show. Usually I think fireworks are overrated, but these ones over the Brooklyn Bridge were seriously MIND BLOWING. Needless to say, I'm not so sad about my beach trip being cancelled anymore. Moral of the story: sometimes things fall apart so other things can come together.
